Learn until you are alive

This picturesque scenery captured during sunrise conveys a loaded message. The magnificent sun which is rising from the eastern direction is indicating to shine like a bright star in life by working hard, burning self-ego, piercing rays of knowledge in others and by leaving a positive reflection in the society. One should stand as humble as the bushes grown on the rock who are ready to grow while they withstand the hardships borne by them thrown by life on them as the cool water splashes over them over and over again. In this context, the scorching heat emanating from the blazing sun, the chill gushes of wind slapped by air and being repeatedly drenched by the lake water. The castle standing tall and heaven anigh thinks, it possesses all knowledge, but one must always look at the opportunities lying ahead of it. One may have an ocean of knowledge ahead of it, but one shouldn't think that he is all knowledgeable. One must dive into the ocean of learning to acquire latest skills not only required in the market for sustenance, but also to develop new hobbies for self-development professionally and on the personal front. There's a saying which my mother reminds of quite often, "Until you are alive, keep learning". The curvy mountains in the picture depict of the magnanimous success lying ahead of us. To reach this place, we must swim through the ocean of learning, face the rough tides life throws on us, we must overcome them and reach the pinnacle of success. Upon reaching there, we may find another ocean, another mountain and the adventure repeats.
Happy Learning!

A long cherished Dream

Graduation Day is the day that I had dreamt about. I personally never thought I would ever graduate, but here I am. Every single one of us worked so hard to get here. I never thought I would be up here on this day, but dreams do come true. As nervous as I was standing behind the podium, I was also joyful and proud to share my experience with you all. About five years ago in a boutique, I happened to meet my school teacher who is now currently the Principal of Sindhi High School, Hebbal branch – Mrs. Maitreyi Satyadev Ma’am. As we reminisced our good old days, she motivated and encouraged me to take up a graduate program in a field of my choice. I was relatively settled in my career then, with a permanent job in the World's Best Bank’ and 'Best Place to Work' - HSBC with a handsome package.  However, as days passed by, my teacher’s meeting that day had given me a lot of food for thought; that meeting was lingering me by giving me sleepless nights about whether I want to ...

A lake connected with a narrow stream

Do you see a narrow stream or a huge lake ahead of you? Sure enough both. Didn't you? This image clearly picturizes both the aspects of life.  Its pretty common for a person to go through narrow streams in life where one may not find much space to lounge around happily. The reasons might vary from individual to individual and from one situation to another circumstance. One may face a relationship breakdown and another might be facing financial crisis whereas the third may be facing a shattered career. But this certainly doesn't mean that one should give up one's life mid-way suffocating their breath through various means. One must try to accommodate themselves to the situation or circumstance and try squeezing through this passage.  However, there would certainly be a positive reflection (the way reflection is falling on the lake) on our life awaiting for us with open arms. With a little push from our end, a gentle pull by our well wishers with a little amou...

Is Atmanirbhar really possible?

One of the many lessons what the Sanatana Dharma educates us is to remain ‘ Swabalambi ’ – self-sufficient and being ‘Atmanirbhar’ – self-dependent. Today when our nation is battling to recover our economy through various ways as a lockdown was imposed due to the incursion of COVID – 19, it is time we rotate our wallet’s flow towards the local vendors, manufacturers, artisans, handloom weavers and many more domestic traders. We as citizens of this nation can revive the economy in very simple ways. Buy Swadesi Products from indigenous dealers: We have fed the foreign companies enough for them to feed their next few generations without struggling much. But are our domestic firms strong enough to sustain this kind of economic slowdown? Owing to the lockdown and invasion of foreign retailers, many businesses have wound up their business and are looking for alternatives. Being a socially responsible citizen, it is our duty to help, motivate and encourage local businesses and help them...
